Integrated Urban Monitoring Platform

Published in 14 de September de 2024

Currently, many municipalities face the challenge of operating with information silos, where data from different sectors do not communicate with each other. This hinders a holistic view of urban issues and complicates effective decision-making. Our project proposes the development of a centralized platform that integrates information from areas such as health, education, public safety, and transportation.

Utilizing the open-source technology of the FIWARE platform, the “Integrated Urban Monitoring Platform” will enable interoperability between various systems and applications. Public managers will be able to identify important correlations, such as the relationship between school absenteeism and disease outbreaks, facilitating the implementation of more efficient and targeted public policies.

This project represents a significant step towards building smarter, more connected cities that are responsive to the needs of the population. With access to real-time data, it will be possible to improve urban services, optimize resources, and promote sustainable development.
