Selection for Computing Scholarship Students
Published in 13 de September de 2024The Metrópole Digital Institute (IMD/UFRN) has published a call for the selection of undergraduate scholarship students in computing or related fields. Five positions are available to work on the project Integration of IoT and Cloud Services with the FIWARE Platform: Development, Innovation, and Technology Transfer.
Interested candidates can apply until September 16. The selection process covers four different profiles: Backend Software Developers, Frontend, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). To apply, candidates must fill out this electronic form.
For the developer profile, three positions are offered, two for backend and one for frontend. According to the provisions of Call No. 001/2024, the role requires experience in software development, user interfaces, software testing, the use of functional, unit, and integrated testing tools, among other activities. The compensation is R$ 3,000, with a workload of 30 hours per week.
For the single DevOps position, knowledge in Linux, pipeline applications, infrastructure automation tools as code, among other areas, is required. The compensation is also R$ 3,000, but with a workload of 20 hours per week.
Meanwhile, the AI scholarship profile has one position and requires the candidate to have solid knowledge of the Python programming language, with a focus on data manipulation, algorithms, and model development. The compensation is R$ 3,000, with a workload of 30 hours per week.
The selection process will consist of application approval, curriculum analysis, and an interview. The final result will be announced on September 30 on the IMD website, under the “Calls” section.
